Cheesy Biscuits

These fast and easy cheesy biscuits are melt in your mouth delicious, great as an appetizer or for dipping in a soup or sauce.

 1 tablespoon baking powder
 ½ teaspoon salt
 1 cup grated smoked cheddar cheese
 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream

Preheat oven to 450 degrees

In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt

Add cheddar and stir well so all the cheese is coated with flour

Add cream and using the handle of a wooden spoon stir until the mixture just comes together

Knead the dough and form into a ball

On a clean wooden board, Pat the dough flat about one inch thick and using a pastry cutter or a knife cut it into any shape you like

Place them on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for approximately 15 minutes, until the tops are golden brown.
