Cinnamon Apple Chips

These apple chips are an easy healthy snack to make, they may take a few hours, but you don't have to baby sit them. They end up being crunchy and sweet, kind of like a cross between a chip or cracker and a fruit leather.

 Any number or Variety of Apples
 Cinnamon or other spices

Preheat oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit


Using a mandolin or a sharp knife, slice the apples into circles, from the bottom of the apple slicing through the core, removing the seeds as you go


Place the apple slices on a parchment lined cookie sheet, they can overlap a little bit as they will shrink as they dry.


Sprinkle with as much or as little spice as you like


Bake in the oven for approximately 1.5 hours


Flip apples over and sprinkle the other side with spices and bake for approximately another hour to hour and a half until the edges are curled and the apples leathery, they'll dry further and become crisp after they're taken out of the oven
